A film about the creation of ”Idorus” in Japan. Portraits of 6 teenagers living in Tokyo, who together document the classic stations of a pop star or idol: apprenticeship, debut and career. What role model, which identity, which artificial images and which kind of self-conception do these ”Idorus” have? What will remain in the end? A product or a personality?

About Film Installation -
In 2006 we were invited to create a media installation for the exhibition "Spots" on a temporary media facade at Potsdamer Platz, Berlin, in cooperation with "realities united", Berlin. The media facade was covered with a light matrix of 1800 lamps, that could be controlled by a computer, to recreat luminous moving images on the surface of the building. We showed our works "Berlin Sunrise", and "Tokyo Star", to interact with the urban environment.
